Super Shield and the appropriate pads are all it takes to restore VCT, LVT, and Nora, and If your terrazzo or stone floors have become dull or damaged over time, you may need to consider floor restoration with the Medama Diamondizing kit. This involves stripping all traces of finish or sealer from the floor, and then polishing the floor with a series of progressively finer grit “pucks” with your auto scrubbers or side-by-sides, and finishing with our diamondizing cream for maximum shine. The Diamondizing kit will quickly remove scratches, deep stains, and damage due to acidic spills from foods and drinks. The Diamondizing kit will also eliminate the need for sealers and finishes and allow the original beauty of the floor to shine through.

The Best Floor Coatings

Extremely durable, stain resistant, non-yellowing floor coatings can be key for maintaining VCT and other types of floors, and Sanitis has you covered for that as well.

Medama Radiance is a “next generation” acrylic floor finish that gives a “wet” looking shine to floors without ever yellowing or cracking. When maintained with Super Shield, it can last for years without the need for stripping and re-coating. Simply scrub it and top coat as needed. Each coat of Radiance dries in about 15 minutes, and it have very low odor and VOCs.

For even more durability and stain resistance, try Iron Coat which is used in airports, universities, and hundreds of hospitals across the US. Iron Coat is a “hybrid” low maintenance floor finish that was specially designed for high wear resistance and chemical resistance. Iron Coat holds up in even the toughest traffic and it resists chemicals including alcohol and battery acid. Iron Coat is used in any environment where a high shine and high wear and/or chemical resistance are prized. Unlike polyurethane finishes, Iron Coat can be burnished monthly or as desired. Iron Coat never has to be stripped, though it can be. Rather than stripping Iron Coat, simply scrub it and add another coat. Only two to three coats of Iron Coat are needed, and each coat of Iron Coat dries in 10 – 15 minutes. It is burnished immediately after the final coat is dry rather than waiting 24 hours for it to cure. Iron Coat has virtually no odor, and very low VOCs.

The Best Floor Strippers

We all know the issues with floor strippers: too many passes are needed to remove years of buildup, and the odor can be overwhelming.

You don’t have to worry about either of those issues with GenX Floor Stripper or Power Strip from Sanitis. GenX Stripper is a concentrated stripper for acrylic finishes and for sealers that has virtually no odor and very low VOCs. GenX Stripper is diluted 20:1, so a little goes a long way thus reducing chemical costs associated with stripping floors. This product also works quickly to help reduce labor costs. Power Strip is a floor finish remover formulated specifically for removal of catalyzed urethane finishes. It can remove years of alternating buildup of acrylic and polyurethane finishes in one pass, and it can even remove Saniglaze. Power Strip comes as a pre-diluted semi-paste for immediate use or dilute with water for lighter-duty jobs, and it, too, is very low odor and has no VOC’s.
